This home was designed by L ynn and was an entry in the Town and Country home show presented by the Ft. Wayne Home Builders Association. It attracted many visitors and was well received according to the many positive comments from the public. The three bedroom home with den sits on a full finished walk-out basment with a 4th bedroom and kitchenette.
Home and Hangar in Allen County
The owners of this home are aviation enthusiasts and so it made sense to locate their home close to an airstrip. The home site they found was not only near an airstrip but adjacent to it with a private taxiway to the runway. This allowed the owners the luxury of having the hangar for their airplane attached to the home. A few years after completion we were contacted by the owners to do an unattached maintenance barn which is pictured in this gallery.
Home on Private Lake Near Angola
This two-story home was built for a growing family in the Angola area. With substantial input form the owners, Lynn designed this eclectic beauty using a mix of a lake home plan previously constructed and incorporating many of the owner’s ideas that are found in year-round residences. A combination of brick and thin veneer natural stone was used for the majority of the exterior with the remainder of the outside being fiber-cement siding. The very beautiful 27 acre lake can be viewed from the kitchen, nook, great room, master bedroom and screened porch. There are also views of the lake from the exercise room and game room located in the lower level walk-out.
Year Round Residence on Clear Lake
After deciding that remodeling the existing cottage was too extensive and wouldn’t achieve exactly what the owner was looking for, they decided that demolishing the cottage to make way for this beautiful lake home was the correct approach. This home was co-designed by Lynn Delagrange and Brad Conway (deceased) as a year round residence and is truly a one of a kind masterpiece.
