Most would agree that it is somewhat unusual to use adjectives such as beautiful or gorgeous while describing a stand-alone garage. We do feel however, that the use of those words is appropriate in the description of this garage on Clear Lake. Lynn, with much input from the owner, designed this building to meet the very stringent guidelines specified in the town's ordinances. Complying with the setback standards influenced the design in a manner that created a longer and less square garage than is typical for most lake accessory buildings. The height restrictions as well, created a design challenge in allowing for maximum additional storage options on the 2nd level. Designed by Lynn Delagrange, this home provides 3,085 sq. ft. of living area on the two main floors and an office which is located on the upper half-story. The home has 1,367 sq. ft. of finished area in the walk-out basement as well. The design of this home satisfies the typical priorities of lake property owners with plenty of sleeping areas - 5 bedrooms plus a bunk room that sleeps six - and lots of baths - 4 full baths, including two Jack & Jill baths and a powder room. Designed by architect Jerry McArdle, of Clear Lake, this lake cottage has 2,618 sq. ft. of living area on two floors. The home was constructed on a piling supported crawl space and includes a 162 sq. ft. lake-side screened porch as well as an attached two-car garage. The master bedroom is located on the lake side of the upper floor and provides stunning views of the lake. The master suite is accompanied by 3 additional bedrooms on the 2nd floor.

Located on the Marina Bay of Clear Lake, this lake cottage was designed by Lynn with much input by the owners. The home has three bedrooms with the master suite located on the main floor. The kitchen, nook and great room are separated only by arches and columns and contributes to the spaciousness of this open design. Over-sized windows in the great room, nook and master bedroom offer splendid views and give the illusion of the lake extending under the home. The laundry room is conveniently accessed directly from the master suite as well as from the main area of the cottage. The kitchen boast a beautiful island and walk-in pantry. Many more features make this home very well suited for lake-side living.

Designed by Jeff Bushey of Ft. Wayne, this gorgeous year round home is a good example of getting the most out of what a site has to offer. The attached two-car garage is placed at an angle not only to allow for easy access but to meet setback requirements as well as adding to the curb appeal. The angular exterior deck configuration is another great example of creative design that not only complies with the town ordinances but contributes to the overall aesthetics of the home  as well. The site was marginally acceptable for the construction of a walk-out basement but this was accomplished by precise positioning of the elevation of the lower level.
