This lake home was designed by architect Victor Martin of Ft. Wayne. As a veteran of many building projects, the owner was comfortable in handling the decorating herself. The interior woodwork and doors are stained oak and the exterior is natural stone and fiber-cement siding and shakes.
Green Lake Home on Clear Lake
The owners of this home on the east shoreline of Clear Lake wanted their home to be highly efficient and, commendably, to have a minimal impact on the lake. The entire home is conditioned with radiant hot water floor heat and high velocity air conditioning. The gorgeous landscaping conceals the substantial underground drainage system that prevents most of the property's surface water from reaching the lake. The preliminary home design was provided by architect Mike Christoffersen with revisions and final plans completed by Lynn. The subsurface engineering was provided by Foresight Consulting in Ft. Wayne.
Lake Home Marina Bay Clear Lake
The plans for this lake home on the Marina bay at Clear Lake were purchased by the owner off of the internet. To meet the ordinances of the lake and other site specific criteria, Lynn modified the plans accordingly. Being in the elevator business, the owner obviously wanted to include this feature. Another unique item that Lynn was able to incorporate into the plans was a media room located under the garage.
Clear Lake Cottage and Garage
The building of this year round lake home was preceded by construction of an unattached garage, with art studio, across the street. This allowed the owners to store their belongings from the existing cottage as well as providing them a place to stay short term throughout the construction of the new lake home.
Office Building North Ft. Wayne
This office building was built for a growing business in Ft. Wayne and was to be their headquarters. The building, located in an industrial park in northern Ft. Wayne, was designed by Lynn with WKM and Associates providing the architectural services. The exterior materials of this building are maintenance free with the use of E.I.F.S., also referred to as “stucco”, for the sidewalls and a standing seam metal roof.
