Located on a closed equestrian training and boarding facility near Roanoke, this home, like the rest of the property has been given new life by the owners. Having built a home and cottage for these loyal customers, they requested our help once again to refresh this home so it could be occupied by the manager of the facility.
The building was solid for the most part but certainly had areas that needed attention functionally as well as aesthetically. Among the work that was completed were projects such as adding a roof over the main entry, re-roofing the entire home and adding some stone wainscoting and other exterior embellishments.
The interior was updated with brand new custom kitchen cabinets and granite tops, refurbishing some existing hardwood floors that were covered with carpeting and repainting the entire home. Hand railing was added to the interior stairway to improve safety as well as enhance the appearance, this being another example of the work that was completed on this home.
Lynn considers it to be very rewarding to take a structure that has potential and as work progresses watch the transformation of the building into something that most everyone could enjoy calling home.
