Project Description

Having outgrown their home, this family decided that the best solution to their lack of living space was to have a new home built. As a farming family, the owners determined that the best location for the new home was right there on the family homestead that has been in the family for many years. The new home is situated in a manner that compliments this gourgeous farmstead.

Along with the owners, Lynn designed this home to accomodate the specific needs that are typical for a large family. From the super-sized mud room and laundy room, to the large kitchen with walk-in pantry, a great deal of attention was given to functionality in the design of this 5 bedroom home. A dedicated school room and separate library allows the children space to be properly home-schooled.

Provisions have been made for a sun room and bonus room in the attic to be easily added in the future to allow for additional space and comfort. With the large wrap-around front porch and 3rd floor dormers, the home fits perfectly on this idyllic Hoosier homestead.
